I'm Baaaaaaack!

Well hello there Divas & Dons...OMGoodness has it been a while. I've been super busy, but I'm sure that nobody wants to hear that LOL. Any how I'm thinking that this will be a happen stance blog since it never really took off. I've decided to use this blog (as prompted by a friend) as a personal challenge blog. Over the next few weeks as I prepare to enter the next phase of my life...yep I'm going back to school to "finish" my Master's Degree program I am going to have to make some changes. So once I'm done with structuring it I will gladly share it with those of you that are still out here in Cyberspace reading this blog. Stay tuned!

On The Road Again!

Hey everyone on the road again this time a few miles from the Motor City, I'm in the ATL and havng ball with friends & family. Okay so last night we dined at the infamous Justins in Buckhead, which was a first for me and the food was  fabulous, you go Diddy! Let's Get It On!

Marvin Gaye said it best its time to get it on yall...But question, how much sex is enough sex...once a week, once a month, every day, several times a day?  Oh you say you're getting older and you notice a change in your sex drive? Men we all know that sex for women usually start once we're reminded of it so go ahead and touch your woman.  Well you may be surprised to know that it may not all be physical, and it may not be just the women over 40. For example is it hormonal? Testosterone which is produced in the ovaries is known to stimulate the area of the brain that's associated with sexual desire. The problem is as a result of the body's natural aging process those levels of testerone dwindles. It is at its peak around 20 but significantly drops by age 40. Some of the non physical factors that can lurk in the bedroom may include but are not limited to stress, financial difficulty (aka when my $ ain't right my p&*%y don't work LOL), relationship difficulty etc. Whatever the problem is one thing is for sure you'd better do something, and fast. So what's a woman to do? Well a few ideas that may jumpstart the party range from introducing toys, and testosterone creams to KY's new "Intense" Line and even Tantric Sex stimulation....hmmmm who knew? Well now you do. Keep in mind whatever you decide it could ultimately enhance your romance or at least make you feel like a woman, alive.

Why won't he commit? 10 reasons why he won't stay

The list could go on for days but I've taken a moment to give "somebody" some  insight on why he won't stay. I'm sure there are many more reasons but here's a start.


1. He doesn't have to, you'll be there.
2. Its just in his nature.
3. He's never committed to anything or anybody in his lifetime.
4. You haven't demanded it.
5. Too many automatums.
6. He's really not that into you
7. You don't feed him (and I'm not just talking about food)
8. "You're" indecisive/inconsistent
9. You don't take care of your business. (the kids, the house, pay bills on time)
10. He's immature.

Remember it starts with you love yourself, and learn yourself....show your confidence not your cleavage and perhaps he'll reconsider...but if he doesn't this to shall pass!

Dictatorship or Democracy

Is it me or does it feel like I've fallen asleep and woke up in one of those old movies where all of the people are being ordered around by people in chariots or something.....(shrugs)! Anyway this political stuff is draining my brain in part because I will be directly effected by the outcome of Ohio's Senate Bill 5 should it pass. One of the questions I have is can everyone see how the world (beginning with OH/WI) is turning into more of a dictatorship? Over 20,000 people turned up on the state capitol steps angry and protesting that the rights of the working class people not be violated, by eliminating collective bargaining. I mean seriously the people have spoken.......Hello.....is anybody out there? Can you hear me now? Good!   I don't know everyone has an opinion that's mine, what do you think? Is union busting a necessity in order to "balance" the budget, or is this just one more tactic to control things?

Get up, stand up!

Ok so what's everyone waiting for let's get this party started. I made this blog so that we could say and do whatever FB wouldn't allow us to do LOL! So tell me what kind of topics would you all like to discuss? I have a laundry list of things that I randomly think of and can not wait to share with you but for now I'm more interested in feeling you guys out. As we continue to talk I'm going to introduce new things to this blog and I'll also be doing some remodeling to the page but for now...it is what it is.

1st topic up for discussion- What in the hell is wrong with all of these greedy ass people, in every city and why do they insist on stealing $ from an already bankrupt society? We continue to hear stuff in Ohio about this proposed Senate Bill 5 that is going to literally destroy the working class public  employee. The bill which has been presented to the House would put an end to collective bargaining as we knew it. How many of you believe that businesses would survive not being allowed collectively bargain? And what purpose do you believe the union up until this point has served in this country?  I personally believe that an end to collective bargaining would cause chaos for public employees and those in private sector as well. I mean think about it unions were created years ago for a reason, and part of that reason was to ensure fair labor practices. I for one feel that without them you'd probably be forced to work an 80 hour week whenever management felt it was necessary. I mean we could argue all day long about unions, whether they worked for some people or not but I believe that without them we would not have a voice or opinion and would be thrown to the wolves so to speak. Also believe what you want about it and it may not effect you because you're not a public employee....but I can bet you the private would soon follow suite if it goes through.....Real Talk!!!

New Heights!

Greetings everyone I have so much on my mind right now but I'll try to stay focused. First, and foremost I'd like to give a shout out to myself for "doing me". That's right for a change I did something that I've wanted to do for a while and guess what I had a lot of damn fun. Today I had my 1st audition for a role in a film to shot here in Detroit. That's right the film is called "Brutality" and its starring Thomas 'Tiny' Lister. I couldn't be more thrilled I'm happy to say I have always been a woman to go for what the hell I wanted and this time I am. As the world turns daily I get so sick of doing what I have to do, so at this time in my life I'm doing what I want to do.  How many of you feel me? You know what I'm saying you've always wanted to be an actor, singer, stripper ....whatever but were reluctant to do so because of what "they" would say! I mean real talk who in the hell is ":they" anyway? And how do I find "they"? Does "they" have a leader? Because I'd like to chop it up with him/her. Well I"m offering no more damn excuses its my time to shine playa...LOL! How about you? What are you gonna do? As you can see times are changing all day every day, you'd better find your place in this mofo and "do you:". Damn what "they" say, and besides who in F&*K is "they" anyway?. Ciao for now~

I NEED SOME "ME TIME"

I'm having a meltdown!....I woke up this mornin to the tune of my alarm and decided I'd had enough! Yep the weatherman confirmed it going up to 53 degrees today (living in MI) that's a treat I thought, so I did it....I made a decision, I'm staying home today and I"m going "Day Trippin". Now don't trip I didn't call in sick but instead took a vacation day to do "me". So in about an hour or so (whenever I decided to get dressed) I'm going out to do me 1st stop Whole Foods (my favorite), 2nd I'm thinking about a matinee, 3rd off to the city, Detroit that is downtown for lunch & cocktails all by my lonesome self....after all is said and done, at the end of this day I hope to re-establish a "sense of self" I mean we all do it cram an entire years worth of work into one week and then wonder why we're soooo tired. I'm sick of the snow and I need some me time. So wish me well, this my friends I've established is a good day for some "ME TIME". I hope you can do the same, soon. Ciao for now~
